3. Headlight Manual - Parts and supplier list

I have sourced the components for the HID conversion from Acutrac Electronics in Andover, United Kingdom. This supplier has gone out of business. However, there are plenty of similar kits on offer on the web. The links below should show the details of those items. The rest you can source at any local motor factor:

- H7 HID replacement kit

- H4 HID replacement bulb

- Should you not want to use permanent low beam on both lamps, then you could buy a straightforward H9 HID conversion kit.

- a 40 Ampere switch relay

- a fuse holder suitable for 30 amp vehicle fuses

- High quality vehicle cable, rated up to 40 amps.

- A time delay unit, this is the one I used. It has a build-in relay making it unnecessary to put in a second vehicle relay.

- Various cable connectors, preferably waterproof and designed for vehicle use

Two high performance LED sidelights, I got them here from a supplier in Switzerland.

Epoxy filler with high thermal resilience

The ballasts provided in most kits are very well suited for the Tiger 1050 and their size fits perfectly as outlined in my manual.

This is the wiring diagram I used for the system:
